We could not have asked for a more beautiful day for these two love birds. When we arrived at Salem Methodist Church Tommie was in the final stages of getting ready- she looked SO gorgeous. Her dress was simple yet absolutely elegant and breathtaking. The simple styled plus the lace detail portrayed Tommie’s personality perfectly! When it comes to Tommie emotional isn’t the first word that comes to mind, but as she came down the isle, her eyes met Derek’s and the emotions she expressed truly spoke volumes of her love for him.

With Tommie’s background in volleyball and Derek’s in baseball, there was an enormous amount of support and love from every area of their lives. All of the groomsmen wore their favorite baseball team on their socks to support their friendships with Derek- and all of Tommie’s “volleyball family” gathered for a huge group picture. A delicious dinner was served by Traditions Catering and Brandy Singer Photography was there to capture every special moment. They danced the night away, had wonderful speeches dedicated to their new journey together, and had a beautiful sparkler send off into their happily ever after.

Our personal favorite part of this special day was seeing Tommie and Derek tie the knot in the same church Tommie’s parents did. This sentimental factor played a huge role in the emotions of the day. The sun glistened through the stain glass windows and filled the church up with such a comforting feeling! <3
