Have you ever been to a wedding or an event and found yourself obsessed with the glamorous details? Courtney & Sam’s wedding did that for us.

They chose to say, “I do” at the Chrysler Museum in downtown Norfolk; a historical art museum with the most intricate interior design. This venue made for such a romantic setting and fulfilled the brides vision perfectly. From the amber colored lighting to the elegant decor, the guests were swooning over how beautiful everything came together.

Lanterns lined the aisle and white rose petals filled the path, the perfect touch to this dreamy ceremony. When Courtney reached her groom, her dad intertwined her hand with Sam’s and gave her the sweetest kiss on the cheek, you could definitely see how much he loves his little girl.

As a touching tribute to the bride’s mother the couple incorporated magnolias, her mother’s favorite flower. These beautiful flowers were in every centerpiece giving remembrance and honor to her mother who was deeply missed on such a special day.

Cocktail hour was held in the African Exhibit, which was so unique. The set-up of the museum and this particular exhibit allowed for all the guests to circulate smoothly.

Our awesome vendor partners flipped the ceremony space into the reception space and the celebration began! Guests sat at a long banquet table adorned with a breath taking floral arrangement that spanned the entire length of the table.

It wasn’t all serious though, their wedding party was SO fun especially when Sam’s family demonstrated a traditional dance in celebration of their union. They sent their guests off with fresh warm cookies and began their happily ever after!
