Here at TSE we are suckers for when brides bring sentimental value into their big day. This wedding took place at Goshen Scout Reservation, which has been a part of Trish’s family since the 60’s! Her grandfather was one of the original Goshen Bears. Her grandfather and many other members of the family donated a significant amount of time to this cherished place. Trish’s grandparents are now her beloved angels so you can imagine how much this place means to her. Such a special place for her to begin the journey of marriage with the man she completely adores.
It had been raining all morning and when it came time for the ceremony to begin, the rain was still coming down. We crossed our fingers and pushed back the ceremony start time a few minutes. Miraculously the rain cleared up and all the moving parts were brought together by a beautiful rainbow. Her grandfather and grandmother were there in that moment.
The wedding was held outside, in October with the perfect fall/ campfire theme. The color scheme was emerald, forest green, burgundy, blush, and champagne. All these colors alongside the beautiful scenic view really were breathtaking.
The walk to the ceremony space was lined with lanterns and faced a lake with mountains surrounding. From the tip of her head to her tips of her toes Trish was a gorgeous boho bride. Her dress was spectacular! It was made of lace, long-sleeved with a train, and had the perfect open back. She wore a crown of flowers and wore a soft natural look with a bright red lipstick for her glam. She truly was stunning.
Cocktail hour and the reception were both held under an open shelter right next to where the ceremony took place. Eric spent the majority of the rehearsal night stringing up tons of twinkling lights. There was a smore bar and the signature drink was a spiked apple cider. They created such a cozy environment; so much passion and love went into designing this special day. They even had white pumpkins as the centerpieces, which tied together their theme perfectly.
There’s always something about the special dances that the bride and groom share with their father or mother, but the family dance that Trish and Eric shared with their son Charlie really pulled at those heart strings. It started off as a mother-son dance and then Eric joined in and made it complete.
Trish and Eric are filled with energy and overflowing love. We had such a great time planning alongside them and celebrating their commitment to one another. Thank you for having us! <3
