Caecey & Joe: Williamsburg Winery
Have you ever meet someone for the first time and immediately know that you’ll get along perfectly? Well that’s exactly how we felt when we met Caecey and Joe. Caecey’s spit fire personality and Joe’s gentle spirit compliment each other to a T. It was such a blast seeing their big dreams come to life at the Williamsburg Winery.
The bride and her girls started off the morning with bubbly cocktails and makeup at the hotel. They then moved over to the Williamsburg Winery where they finished getting dressed in an elegant bridal suite.
And what a sense of humor! Deep heart felt laughter filled the space throughout the whole morning. The beautiful bride moved about like a fairy princess. She thoroughly enjoyed her time as the count down brought her closer to walking the isle to her love.
Caecey wore a fitted wedding gown that complimented her feminine figure and added a dramatic veil to tie it all together. She added a special touch to her bouquet as she wrapped it with pieces of her mother’s wedding dress. It was so sweet seeing the interaction between Caecey and her mom as she helped with the finishing touches of fastening Caecey’s dress.
The guys arrived and headed to their designated area and boy were they a hoot to be around. Joe’s family is from New York and their personalities were everything this day needed. Joe’s dad especially, was the life of the party keeping the mood nice and loose as Joe prepared to marry the love of his life.
The bridal party lined up deep in the wine cellar and gave a dramatic entrance through two huge doors leading to the lawn. This ceremony had a special little twist as Caecey’s dad played two big roles. One was to walk his baby girl down the aisle, giving her away as well as sealing the deal by officiating the ceremony. He did such an amazing job! It is a ceremony we won’t ever forget.
After the ceremony we rolled right into cocktail hour where they provided an open beer and wine bar as well as delicious appetizers. The layout of the winery made for a perfect flow of guest traffic and everyone mingled comfortably until the reception began.
The reception space was breathtaking! So elegant with drapes and whimsical lighting all down the center of the reception area. Off of the main reception space was a terrace that held the buffet and the photo booth. This group of guests were so fun and danced the ENTIRE night. Drinks were spilt and glasses were broke but it only enhanced the celebration and it sure didn’t stop them from getting their boogie on!
Caecey and Joe’s close family and friends spoke endearing words that surely touched the hearts of those in attendance. Each of them with sentimental memories as well as hysterical ones connecting them through the years, drawing them even closer on this special night.
The evening closed as they walked through a huge tunnel created by their precious family and friends. The whole reception space echoed with the screams and cheers for the newlyweds.
What a beautiful day we got to be apart of, congratulations again Caecey and Joe and thank you from the bottom of our hearts for letting us be apart of your big day<3
